Brantz Farm Pickled Banana Pepper Rings



Rings that are right on salads, tacos or whatever needs a touch of mild heat and burst of flavor.

Yield

about 4 pint jars of peppers

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash & slice peppers into ⅛ inch rings
  2. Pack peppers into jars leaving ½ inch head space
  3. Add 1 clove garlic and ⅛ teaspoon pickle crisp to each jar
  4. Mix together vinegar, water and sugar
  5. Bring vinegar, water and sugar mixture to a boil
  6. Pour hot mixture over pepper rings in the jar
  7. Wipe edges of jar opening with a clean cloth and then put on lids and screw bands. Thighten finger tip tight
  8. Process in hot water bath for 10 minutes
